Well, my daughter is White. Blond hair, blue eyes, very light complected. The baby's daddy is Phillipino. Our beautiful boy, Tru, is lighter than his daddy, has dark brown eyes that are beatifully almond shaped. People stop us to tell us what a beautiful baby he is. My oldest son is white, dark complexion, brown eyes, black hair. His wife is Jamaican, medium dark. Their children have a beautiful medium complexion and really nice curly hair. I guess we have an international family and they are all just wonderful. Hope this helps. P.S. My boyfriend is black and has green eyes...anything is possible.
In my limited experience I think asian genes seem to dominate, but as someone else said it does depend on more than just parents, grandparents will tell you a lot.
If she has a parent with blue eyes then there is about a 50-50 chance the child will haev blue eyes, if neither her parents have blue eyes then it is unlikely the child will have blue eyes - not impossible.
The skin colour I would expect to be just a little lighter than her skin colour. Probably black hair, I think darker hair is more dominant (I could be wrong).
But thats just my opinion based on children I have met with similar parentage to what you are describing.
The baby could look like anything, pretty much...My husband is Colombian and I'm very light complected from Oklahoma...I have no idea what my son will look like...It's kind of exciting...my mom was born with red hair...I was born bald...Daniel's mom has dark eyes and dark skin and his dad has light skin and green eyes...You just never know...Although, I did hear that Asian genes are dominate...
: )
genetics is a tough thing.. you cant just look at the mother and father.. you have to consider the grandparents and great-grandparents and everyone else that is before in the genetic scheme of things.
Like a jar with marbles each time the new set of parents get together they are adding to the marbles in the jar already.
*and this is how my college biology class described it!
anything in the jar can come out.
