our musical director never tells us what we're doing until like late october, and my friends and i have been getting all these little hints out of him. most recently, he's said he's really looking at one show that has "a smaller size cast, that could also be changed to a larger cast".
we know of like one or two that fit this description, but maybe someone else knows of others that would? we've come up with Lucky Stiff and i forget the other one...
any ideas?
Update:edit;; he's trying to avoid us finding out, which is why we're given so few clues, i know that doesnt help much. and we've done Into The Woods and Oklahoma so far, if that helps any.

Sorry, but unless you were given many more clues than what you're putting here that's just too vague.
You can always browse through these sites to get more ideas:

That could be many musicals. Directors have the discretion to add people/parts in any show. Some shows really don't allow for it, though and it won't work very well to add a bunch of people. Here's an example: I was in Seven Brides when I was in High School. We had a big cast with many townspeople. I've also seen the show done with a really small cast, though. Since it was a high school production, my director want to have many people involved as possible.
It's always exciting to know what the next production will be!
I think more clues would help us, but for some reason Into the Woods poped into my head. But that depends on if he ment cast as including chrous or if he was just talking about lead parts.
