My computer loads to a black screen?
So I turned off my computer earlier in the evening because it was running slow and when I turned it back on it will go to the XP loading screen as if it was going to load then goes to a black screen. It's odd because i can still move my mouse. I've tried running Chkdsk and running and safe mode but with no avail. Can anyone help?

Samething happen to me but i have windows vista. I had to send it back to hp and after that it worked great. never hold down the shut down button bc that makes this happen. Well thats what hp told me.
youre video card driver is down go to system bios and see if there working.
