ghz is the processing speed the higher the better. Most games being amde today are best run on over 2.0ghz, but thats not to say you still cant run them, they will just be slower, and lag if it is an online game.
Most games these days require 2.0 Ghz or higher. You have sufficient RAM and a good graphics card..hard disk is a little small but ok. I think you are underpowered on the mpu side myself. Why couldn't you get your 3.2 Ghz dual core to work for you? I bet it has absolutely nothing to do with the processor...unless you were overheating it.
The one thing that will cause your computer to reboot and restart over and over is if you have temperature control on your mpu and you keep on overheating it...probably by overclocking too much (another way to cause the problem is too high of an overclock). Overclocking, of course, causes a rise in temperature, more instability and over time, shortens the lifespan of the processor. So if you had a 2.0 Ghz processor overclocked to 3.2 Ghz, it certainly was way overclocked, heated the processor and probably did some damage to it. In this case, its nobodies fault but your own. These are some reasons for the booting over and over again.
well you could play simple games like Counter strike source and cod4, but more demanding games like crysis would be a nightmare for that specification.... to check properly go to http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srte...
