how to know?
its a platy or a molly
what kind of fish?
Livebearers will have a gravid spot. they also are always pregnant.
Goldfish, tetras, danios, etc... - scatter eggs around.
Corydoras will lay their eggs on the fish tank walls, heater, filter intake.
Bettas (Gouramis, Paradise fish) place their eggs in bubble nests. Though bettas are on top. Paradise fish and gouramis build theirs in the plants.
Hoped I helped. =]
it most likely is. They can get pregnant and be pregnant for several months. Their first time can go 6 months.
They have kids every 28 days on average. So... you're gonna have kids for awhile as the your fish will be pregnant for 4-6 months. =]
3-6% of vets actually take fish, small animals, reptiles, and birds, and amphibians.

mollies are the same. =]
It most likely is. If there are other fish in the tank, then the answer is yes. I had a fish that looked very pregnant and it turned out it was. However the pregnancy does take a very long time, so don't count on baby fish so soon.
If it's a goldfish, probably not because they reproduce outside their body via eggs (no live birth).
Just to make sure take it to the vet.... :P I would do tht.
