The batteries wear out over time. If you've played it alot then that's what I'd assume is happening. I think repairing it is a matter of opening it up and replacing the battery. I'm sure there some wholesalers on eBay that can send you one. Just make sure all the numbers match up.

First make sure your charger is in good condition. Second you might want to take it to a professional and have the battery changed or if you know what your doing do it yourself, cause there is different types of batteries, use the wrong one you'll need to buy a new Ds.

it's like that. it's normal. because whenever it's not full the orange light shows. don't ever play while charging. it's because it can really lower the amount of battery life your batteries have.

You can only recharge that battery so many times before it needs replacing. You can have Nintendo replace it, or order a replacement from Nintendo

maybe you charged it a lot and it wont charge all the way now.
