Yes, this is normal. She is a baby, and babies sleep alot. She is going to be tired after she gets her shots, just let her sleep.
My Puppy Sleeps A Lot
Absolutely - and be very careful not to overtire her.
At eight weeks, she is an infant - and her body is growing all the time. That takes an enormous amount of energy, and she also needs an enormous amount of care.
Make sure she has a safe crate to sleep in, and is closed into it in a draft-free warm and quiet place when you aren't around to take care of her. At her age, she can only go for a couple of hours without being taken out, so don't leave her home alone all day, or she will not only grow up to be anxious, but will also learn to pee and poop in her crate - and you don't want that!
She must be protected from picking up small things around the house, and eating plants - many houseplants are poisonous - as are candy and gum with xylitol, and many human foods. Basically, she needs to be kept from most things, and watched over constantly.
Don't pick her up right when she whines - you are training her to whine. Rather, ignore her for a few seconds and then toss a toy - anything to change the timing and her focus.
She may feel a little icky the day after the shots - remember, her body will think it has met a germ, and act as if it is getting ready to fight it. Look up how vaccines work - and just be very gentle with her. The rule is, puppies pretty much do everything for about twenty minutes, and then it's back to a nap. Let her tell you when she needs to sleep, and don't play with her or show her off for too long at a time. An overtired puppy can get sick, and while their brain is growing, you want them to stay calm - their brain learns that too. The most important thing to a baby is sleep...
I have a puppy to and he also sleeps a lot but while time passes he won't sleep as much. When I first got him he was always sleeping now he is 3 months and doesn't sleep as much as he use to and let ur puppy have all the rest she can get or she will get sick

This is completely normal as long as she is eating and drinking fine then she should be ok. Think of your puppy as a newborn baby. They sleep alot to help them grow. As long as she is not puking or have real bad diarrhea with blood in the stool than she is perfectly fine.
Thats not a Problem.....sleeping makes puppies grow both physically and mentally...and also she is taking her first steps for becoming a Lady from girl......Don't take any tension just Love her and keep her in Discipline... :)
Puppies are like babies; they play play play and then sleep! Don't worry, this is normal.
