I've had my piercing for about 2 months now. no puss, sometimes redness on top hole, not painful but it's a bit discoloration of skin around my piercing. it's like a light yellow brownish skin? it's not the same color as my regular skin color. is this normal? sometimes my skin looks dry also & peeling a bit.
I'm just worried about the discoloration. will it go away or what do I do?
I wash it once a day with a province soap that my piercer gave me or I do a sea salt soak for 10min.
I haven't changed my piercing at all.

I'd suggest changing it and try using a different type of jewelry (sterling silver, titanium, bioplast, etc). Also try h2ocean piercing spray. It helps heal piercings faster.
I have three navel piercings and a nipple one, the nipple one is extra painful then the navel for definite. The factor with the ones piercings is they would have cure disorders, like rejection. These are the areas wherein there's essentially the most inflammation at the frame; while you put on garments, bras, sleep... So while you get pierced, bear in mind to invite to have bio-jewellery that's implant graded so your frame accepts it larger. The nipple hurts extra considering that there's extra blood flow and extra nerve endings, however either one of the piercings are valued at it.
I have wanted mine done done for 2 years now. I would suggest changing to a BioPlast stud/jewelry. Bioplast will reduss swelling and it will heal faster. As for the dis-coloration, I suggest going back to the peircer and getting their opinion(s) because they are the ones who pierced it.!
