Is it legal to open-carry a loaded firearm in New Hampshire if you're an out-of-state visitor, or is open-carrying firearms only legal to citizens who are a lawful resident of New Hampshire?
It is legal and fine for everyone. There is no code against it.
However, to carry concealed or to carry loaded in a vehicle, you must have a license from a state which is recognized for reciprocity by NH.
Don't let one opinion against open carrying sway your thinking. Both methods of carry have their pros and cons and can be rationally debated down to personal preference.

Yes it is all that matters. Why though? Some people like to carry concealed. See open carry is legal here in Indiana to (but well it's more of on a 'law is silent' on the issue basis) and every time I try and open carry I am harassed so I am forced to carry concealed. SO I guess for someone who don't wanna be harassed I guess they would prefer a CC permit or not to get the weird looks from idiots who ain't used to seeing someone packing. Remember it will be the same idiots around who will wish (god forbid) you or another gun owner is around if a robbery at your local 7/11 is going down and the robber is armed. Also it does scare sissy people, or you'll have some nut go for your gun etc. Or as others have stated, it is the robbery scenario where the perp sees your packing who ya think he's killing to save himself from you using your weapon? Besides the things I have stated, there is a whole host of reasons to carry concealed to be honest.

It appears that anyone can open carry in the state of New Hampshire. Non-residents can also apply for a permit to carry a concealed handgun.
I have no idea, but open carry anywhere outside a jungle is a stupid idea, legal or not.
