Nintendo 3ds GBA emulation?
For the amabassador program we got 10 free GBA games. I was wondring considering you can't suspend your game or put your console in sleep mode while palying it if Nintendo just runs the roms thorugh the orginal DS hardware that the system has.
did nintendo ever take out the guts that are needed to play GBA games when they made the DSI or 3ds or did they just take out the GBA port

The guts too.
But they are making the GBA games into 3D Classics.
And Nintendo is also making Sega Gamegear games into 3D Classics.
And also TurboGrafx16 games into 3D Classics.
So look forward to those in the eShop during 2012.
I personally can't wait for Sonic the Hedgehog 1 & 2 3D Classics to come out.
