I have a question about the memory of the 3ds. If you download a dsi ware game on the e shop, it gets downloaded on the system memory but other tittles gets downloaded on the SD card? why can't they all get downloaded on the SD card? also what happens if it runs out of system memory? or how to upgrade the system memory? thanks.

You CAN put the games on an SD card, but DSiWare games must be in the system memory in order to be played. It's just a DSi thing. If you run out of spaces, the Home Menu will expand another 60 spaces, so you can have 120 spaces instead of 60. I don't believe you can get anymore, however (I'm sure there's a hack/homebrew for it, but officially, no.) Your 3DS came with a 2GB SD card, but you can expand it if you want to buy another card. Remember that anything above 2GB is SDHC and cannot be used in older devices (although that doesn't apply to a 3DS), and anything about 32GB is SDXC and can't be used in most basic consumer devices. So, in short, you can get up to a 32GB SD card for your 3DS. The system memory can't be upgraded, however. It's stuck at where it's at.
it doesn't dl to sd cards because nintendo doesn't want people to share games. you can copy games and give them to all your friends.
when you run out, start deleting. you can probably fit quite a lot of games.
