DS Lite, cos personally, I think DSi's are way too loaded. Lites are more classic and have just what is necessary, and not all this other stuff I wouldn't use much.

Well, the DS Lite, although has less cool stuff than a DSi, can play GBA games because it has 2 ports. Some games (like Pokemon) require both ports to do certain things in the game. However, the DSi can surf the internet, download DSi gear, has better hardware, bigger screen, etc. So, breaking it down, pretty much the only big advantage of the DS Lite is that they can play GBA games. If you have no interest in GBA games, than go with the DSi.

Note: DSi is more expensive than the DS Lite.
