well if u like a bunch of features such as movies pictures camrea, and a bunch of addable stuff and internet get the PSP, if u weant to play a bunch of really fun games get the DS, the DS has chatting and lots of customization and does have a few add-ons the PSP has but not asd good quality, i bought a chip that allowd me to watch movies lookat pics and play games and listen to music (everything the PSP can do rigth off the back), but it was so low-rent also there is a chip that will allow u to hop on the web yes it is dual-screened so its a large display but its very slow and the keyboard is small and get frustrating. so there are simple explanations for ya. i hoped this helped out.

A psp, because if you are able to get custom firmware on it, meaning a firmware that allows you to play gameboy advance games for free on your psp. I know its amazing itsn't it, I was like that too. But, now I can get all the games for free from homebrew websites, the roms, the iso/cso all the games for FREE, not a penny out of my pocket, only thing you would need would be at least a 4 gb or higher memory stick. Make sure you either get the fat psp (first version that came out) or the slim psp (psp-2000, the second version that came out), Currently you cannot put custom firmware on the latest one PSP-3000 but, if you are a patient one then you can get the latest psp, and wait if Dark Alex the king of psp hacking can unlock it.
