There is no real difference because pokemon black and white are not 3DS compatible (Its 3D features anyway) so if you are going to get a new ds get the DSi.
No difference at all, except the picture is a bit bigger because of the 3ds's screens (you can make the picture smaller if you would like.) It is not in 3d or anything.

there is no difference at all , some people just like to play games like that on the new ds nintendo created , just to have a better outlet . i play pokemon white on my 3ds because i wanted it to be that way , but yea . no difference at all it doesnt even play in 3d so its about the same as playing it on any other nintendo ds system.
