I had a pot noodle the other day with reduced salt and no artificial colours..well I was shocked it was my favourite nice and spicy or sweet and spicy pot noodle. It tasted disgusting! So bland! Id rather have the colours and whatever bad things in it, as long as it tastes good! I think everything in moderation! Who agrees?! :P
Update:No it looked bland..not like the old bright orange colour! Ha I know its unhealthy, but dammit I like a bit of unhealthyness sometimes! I dont eat pot noodles very often cos they are unhealthy. But I wont be eating them again now, its really wasnt nice.
And I can cook healthy food, well I do try sometimes : )

How can artificial colours change the flavour, Salt yes and all your E numbers.
Did it look the the same ?
Well, no artificial colours probably wouldn't effect the taste of the noodle, so I'm guessing it is the reduced salt. But true, we should eat everything in moderation. I guess that the restaurant just needs to rethink/taste how the noodles are without the salt. Maybe instead of reducing the salt in the noodles, they should just add healthier foods to the menu.
Yes, I agree. Although I think there must be a way to make things taste good without putting all of that stuff in...
Maybe our taste buds are warped, and we don't even know what real food tastes like, but I miss flavor when I eat healthier.
Trouble is, when they take out the baddies they don't replace them with goodies.
Not sure about moderation, I think occasional treat - if you like it. Not my thing, but you feel free to go ahead.
Ok if you only want moderate health.
If you learnt to cook properly you could make very tasty healthy food to eat.
try buying fresh egg noodles and stir fry them with soya sauce. they taste delish. easy peasy.
