I currently work part-time as a receptionist whilst I am at college, however due to the unprofessional nature of the managers such as them saying I am fat (I'm not, they're just thai and indian and compared to most thai women, I am an elephant), saying I can leave at certain hours so I have time to sleep for college in the morning and then making me stay until very late and constantly giving me too many hours and too many days to work when we already agreed on set shifts, I want to leave.
I never signed a contract when I started working there seven months ago so I was wondering if I even have to give in a notice? If anyone could help I would be very grateful :)
Update:@ Lacey - Thankyou :) I know, I need to leave asap, currently looking and applying for other part-time jobs as we speak. I've been putting up with it 'cause I need money but I've spent today crying because I'm so miserable, also, they've just knocked all my self confidence. Really not good!

I would do the 2 weeks notice thing just to be safe. And also try to talk to someone about the harassment they are giving you.... calling you fat or things of that nature is uncalled for and should be looked in to. Is there way you can contact the people that are above you managers? If not then try contacting your local worksource commision, they are bound to know a place you can call and report this behavior. So first things first, put in your two weeks ASAP, secondly call around to find a place to report whats been going on. I'm sorry for what your going through at work, not cool.
