I fully charged my headset (the one that comes with socom) and i turned it's power on, and then went to settings->accesories->manage bluetooth devices, and When I click start scanning the PS3 doesn't pick up the headset. Make sure both devices are on. This is a problem I hate with bluetooth headsets, you never know when they're on.You could always keep it charging overnight just to make sure it is fully charged. Once it is, put the headset right in front of the PS3, this helps.
