plasma cells are mature B lymphocytes or B cells. immature B cells produce immature antibodies called IgM. when turned on by T lymphocytes or T cells, B lymphocytes mature into plasma cells and produce mature antibodies like IgG, IgA, etc. the antibodies that plasma cells secrete are the more specific, disease fitting antibodies. it is true to say that only B cells make antibodies, but it is not exactly true to say that only plasma cells make antibodies. it is true to say that only plasma cells make specific, disease fitting antibodies.
1 is true 2 is debatable, the wording might be tricky asking if the production is "random", because the production of the variable regions is not necessarily random (as all proteins are coded for in the individual's genes). I guess aside from if they are trying to trick you on wording, I would say that this one is true too.
