bought an orange rio phone to my my contract sim in and the signal keeps going or it says choose a network sometimes like if im upstairs it will connect to internet ect but most of the time signal is really low is this a problem with the phone or orange

wish i could change but im on contract! my iphone was fine with signal but now its very tempremental just wondering if it was the phone??
