Have you thought about model railroading? If you're not sure, don't invest a lot of money. Buy a couple model railroad magazines for about $10. See if you're interested and go from there. A basic set goes for about $100. There are model railroad clubs all over. It's something that doesn't require computer time, but does require thought and research.
