I have an outdoor cat who currently is a yard cat on a ranch so she has free roam. I recently moved from the ranch to a trailer house in town with a small fenced in yard. I want to bring her but she can get out of the fence and neighboring dogs can get in to hurt her. Is there any sort of cat enclosure that will still allow her to be outside but safe from predators and safe from escaping the yard?

There are a variety of enclosures you can choose from, and even plans to have them built. See links below for some ideas.
Me… kittyslave23… I know my place.
Yes, Google for outdoor cat yard, and you can find lots of wonderful setups. You could also build your own. Just be sure to have all sides in fence or a wandering dog could tip over your enclosure and scare your kitty or worse. Good luck.
You should google your own title but yes, you can get heated outdoor runs or if you've got a fence you can get mesh that when angled at a 45 degree angle towards your garden the cat can't climb too, it's also not very stable so if she DOES manage to get up there she won't like not being able to have a stable thing to climb on just google outdoor cat enclosures and you'll find a ton of things you can buy for exactly what you want to do.
Hi, you are wise for knowing your cat will get killed outdoors. The outside is much too dangerous for a small animal like a cat. I work at a cat shelter and daily hear horror stories from crying ppl about what horrible thing happened to their cat..outside.
Do an online search for "CATIO" = cat patio. there are many many different types. Of course you never leave a cat inside one unsupervised as dogs, coyotes, etc can and will dig under to get them. It will keep the cat from escaping if constructed correctly but just be aware of what can dig under and get in.
Be absolutely sure to have Kitty spayed or neutered if not already done. Look for low cost spay or neuter programs in your area but even at full price its so worth it. They are much nicer and more willing to be indoor pets then, dont have that smelly urine and saves them from getting many diseases of the reproductive organs as well as being at the mercy of the hormones that drive them to escape and fight. Cats will fight to the death or until one runs off , seriously injured.
Is there a leash law in your area.? But still even so , roaming wildlife can kill. I wish you luck and blessings in your new living situation. the ranch life would have caught up with your cat and it would have gotten seriously injured or killed. I work at a cat shelter and daily some one else comes in crying about the terrible thing that happened to their cat... outside.
Again, good luck and God bless and thank you for caring about your cat. Take care.
I kept cats all my life ( I am a senior now ) but I do not know of any enclosure your cat will adapt to being that she's an outdoor cat. Cats are not big on enclosures of any kind. Allow me to suggest that you keep her inside for at least a week so she knows this is home now and will not run away when you let her out.
