Metallica but I only like the first four albums. Pantera was influenced by Metalica btw.

They were both influential in different decades; they come one right after the other. Metallica was more influential in the 80's and Pantera was more influential in the 90's.

Pantera had a very unique and influential style. My two favorite Pantera albums are Vulgar Display of Power and Far Beyond Driven. I think the latter is an improvement over the former - and the band has said that they intentionally topped Vulgar on Driven; I agree!!

Pantera is way better than metallica I like them both but there is no comparison. Metallica needs to just quit already they were only good when they first came out. Pantera is heavier and there songs are actually relatable.
