When I was younger (11), my cat died. He was my best friend at the time, and died young- he was only eight. Shortly after he died, I was walking to my room and passed his old food dish. Nonchalantly, I looked down and saw him staring up at me, asking for food (he was a really pig). Not thinking, I said "Hey Tigger", and walked into my room, closing the door behind me. Realizing what had just occurred, I opened my door and stared out, but he wasn't there. Now, this could have just been my imagination, because I know it is hard to actually SEE a spirit. So, maybe this didn't really happen. I was only eleven.
However, a week later, I was taking a shower. Our only other cat at the time, Chloe, was in the bathroom with me, fast asleep on the toilet. I heard a male cat's meow, and it sounded just like Tigger's. I froze in the shower. It stopped after a few seconds. I thought I was imagining it, or that maybe it was Chloe. When I opened the curtains, Chloe's fur was all on end, her eyes were wide and she was very concerned, staring at the bathroom door. I ignored it. Pretended it didn't happen. If it wasn't for Chloe's reaction, I would say I imagined that too, but I don't think I did.
Once my mom was playing with a Ouija board when she was pretty young, maybe 13, with a bunch of her friends. Anyone who believes in spirits knows that low-energy, negative beings are attracted to those contraptions. When they were trying to summon a spirit, a glass of water that one of the girl's had lifted and smashed against the wall.
Look, some people don't believe in this stuff, and I respect that. However, no, not everything has an explanation in this world. It just doesn't. Talk to some people about their experiences, and they will tell you some crazy stuff. Of course, people will still be skeptical of it, because they didn't see it or experience it themselves. Not everyone experiences paranormal activity, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Maybe there is an explanation for it, but if there is, we haven't found it yet.
I used to have recurring dreams of alien abduction/ghostsly presences paralysing me, being unable to move. This was, and is, sleep paralysis, a natural phenomenon.
I lived in an old house, that made all sorts of unexplainable noises, and had mists in basements, etc.
These are all natural phenomnen related to how houses settle, and are influenced by heat and humidity throughout the day.
I had "unexplainable" semi-transparent "orbs" and seemingly unexplainable "mists" show up in photos. Then I learned about circles of confusion, a normal optical phenomenon.
If anything, all of the "paranormal" experiences I've had have lead to one single overwhelming conclusion...that being unable to explain something at a given time, or being unwilling to consider a rational explanation, doesn't make something paranormal. There is nothing more probable than there are always explanations , even if you personally are unaware of them, because you are limitied by the extent of your knowledge, and do not possess the sum of all possible explanations. However, the vast majority of times, the simplest explanation is usually the correct one.
I've also had lots of experiences with paranormal-oreinted people. And while many of them are otherwise lovely people, to a man I have never met someone with a true skeptical method. Some called themsleves skeptics who came to believe, etc, but they really were just engaging in logical fallacy after logical fallacy, just to build a fragile house of rationalizations on what they WANTED to believe. Some were delusional, some were desperate for attention, some simply were not open to other explanations, some had a need to feel that the belonged or knew somehting other people didn. to feel special. But every last one was defensive when they couldn't answer anything but a softball question, and none have ever shown me anything that would cause me to believe they were anything but charlatans, or decieved themselves. Don't get me wrong, I think the majority of people, myself included, are fascinated by the unknown...its our nature. I think many people just don't think critically about it, because it's fun to escape into possibility. But there are a goodly many who know a money making opportunity/attention getting device, when they see it.

None, there is nothing paranormal, it all has an explanation.
