Seriously, most likely it might just be true. I am a nurse and there are babies born that with parts of each gender and often a doctor will choose the gender of a baby, which isn't fair to the baby because it comes across as being one gender and looking like another.

I will give you an example of a baby born 14 years ago with a very tiny penis, which is not normal, because of hormones in the mother make both boy and girl babies have exaggerated genitalia. Anyhow this boy had a tiny penis and so the doctor ordered a Scan done, and inside this babies belly was an ovary and part of a fallopian tube. The doctor made the choice for this child and they surgically removed all the obvious female parts. The doctor totally made the gender choice for this baby. The family moved to another state and I have lost track of them. I have the feeling that this child should of been raised gender neutral .And let the child make the choice of what gender to be.

I have really wondered if Jenner has had any sort of testing done to see if there are some gender issues in his body. It is not just the brain who feels female.

I think Caitlny is over exposed and I think this should be more of a personal thing, but I guess being part of a family that is so public.

Please be more tolerant about something that is an uncomfortable thing . If it were you or your child, you would want people to be understanding.

What we have here is a logical fallacy called argument from incredulity, or argumentum ad ignorantiam. Whether or not you can imagine or understand that something exists has utterly no relationship to whether it actually does. For instance, I don't believe in a great many things, such as claims of telepathy or telekinesis, but that doesn't mean they don't exist, only that no one has been able to present any compelling and convincing evidence that they do, so there is no reason to.

Here, there *is* convincing and compelling evidence, and that's not just the fact that a great number of people have taken drastic steps, all the way to having their bodies surgically altered, to deal with this. There is a great body of scholarly and scientific articles supporting the existence this condition. There are a great number of psychological disorders that have far less drastic manifestations, but which you undoubtedly accept as real, and may have even experienced yourself--anxiety and depression among them.

I'd suggest your aversion to gender identity disorder has more to do with your own sexual mores than it does with anything else.

Transgender doesn't exist. There's no real proof that it's a condition. Anyone who says there's tons of evidence is merely stating bullsh*t.

A person can't just decide who they are. You can't simply change what you're attracted to, or how you view yourself gender-wise. I personally have a brother who used to be my sister. He didn't ask to go through all that. I'm sure he would have much preferred not to, but that's the lot some are dealt in life.

Actually, there are confirmed cases of gender dysphoria. I am NOT convinced Jenner is one. Besides , he makes a really UGLY woman.

It is a congenital Brain Defect. The Brain is "Female" by default, and if it does not get the in utero male hormone "infusion" male fetuses get, that changes the female brain to a male one before birth, the brain will remain "female"----And then the brain cant be changed (as above) and the unfortunate victim will tend to think and act "female".

This is not the Same thing as "Homosexuality"---that is only a physical attraction to the same sex--a different thing altogether.

The condition is called "gender dysphoria". There are lots of people out there who do not feel that they are the gender that is assigned to them at birth. This is "driven to suicide" serious.

Gender is complicated. There is the obvious XX vs XY vs. XXY vs XYY

Yet. because of developmental issues there are people who are XX who have the external genetalia of males, and there are XY who have the external genetalia of females. There are intersexed people who have ambiguous genetialia.

There are also males who are sexually excited by seeing themselves as femaie, which is another variation.

This is separate from the issue of which gender an individual is attracted to sexually which is also separate from the issue of which gender an individual is romantically attracted to.
