I got pulled over last night for running a stop sign. My car reeked on marijuana and the officer searched me and found paraphernalia. My question is, is there any way to hide these charges from my parents? The car and insurance are under my parents names. I realize i've made a mistake but any advice would be great. My parents would kill me if they found out and I know its my fault but please tell me what to do. I don't care about fines and I am 17 btw.

The paraphernalia charge will not be tied to the car or the insurance because it is a non-moving violation.
Some states treat a 17 year old as an adult when committing an offense. Unless North Carolina is one of those states, you can expect your parents to be notified.
Since you are a minor a parent is going to have to accompany you to court
