It would be a lot easier convincing your mother to buy a game like that if it wasn't $60. Just because it just came out doesn't mean you have to have it NOW. Wait for a few months and the price will drop by half and convincing your mother will be much easier, even better by the time the price drops you could have saved up to buy it yourself. I never buy games just as they come out, it's a waste of money.

Are you sure is a problem of convincing her, and not an issue of your mother not having the money? Wait until your parents get paid again and then trying asking again.
