She has a southern accent. And maybe there are a lot of people in America who don't care about how much calories and fat they eat. We live in a country with the highest obesity rate in the world. I agree though, her meals do not appeal to me. She'll make something like a stick of butter rolled in sugar and put some fancy sauce on it and say, "this is a wonderful treat," and then I'll want to puke. My favorite TV chef is Bobby Flay. He's funny and and his cuisine looks so good and he can cook lots of stuff when he does his cooking throw downs. I went to his restaraunt in Vegas and it was wonderful!!!

Just look at the waistlines of Americans! Caloric intake isn't the foremost though when most people sit down to eat.
