Ok so i made a paypal account and it says it FREE! but on my prepaid card ballance.. they've charged me Approx £1.

So i closed the paypal account asap.
Why does it say its free.. but charge you?!

They make a slight charge to your card to prove the card is really valid, and then they credit you back again.
As they explain it:
Question :How much am I charged for confirming my debit or credit card?
Answer :Your card is charged in the currency of the card. If we are unable to determine the currency of the card or we do not support the currency of the card, the card is charged 1.95 USD.

they would've informed you via terms and conditions. they charged you to verify if the card is real. if you add a bank account, they actually put money in your account to verify it.
