Period relief (girls preferably)?

Okay so I'm 18 and I have had periods since I was 11. I swear they get worse every year. When I was in school I would miss class because it was so bad, I missed work, and many other things because of my period. I get real bad cramps that are so bad I throw up and can't stand for long. I feel weak all over and really tired as well. I bleed a ton and it absolutelt sucks. My periods are very predictable, I can usually guess within two days of when my next one will come and they always last 7 to 8 days. My question is this, is there any way to help releive some of the cramps or bleeding? I don't have time for normal excercise, and if you suggest BC please give specifics. I already use heating pads and I take iron pills and multivitamins as well. I have used all kinds of OTC meds but they don't help much. I don;t really have the option for Rx's so please don't suggest doctor visits. If you could help, I would love it more than you imagine.

Update:

BTW I am not overweight... I am 5'6" and 120 lbs.
