i had brain surgery 5years ago on my left tempral lobe to stop me from my seizures. it worked and thought i could drive again but still cant because the surgery made me loose my right peripheral vision. i run into things all the time and reading is difficult to do. working and going out in public is hard for me, always running people over. im hoping to find a cure for this (prisms i did not like) if you know anythink to help me let me know thanks

Maybe you can find some kind of ultrasound proximity sensor. The one in the link seems to be for whatever is directly in front of you but maybe you can find something with side sensors as well. They say that you get used to the prisms in time.
Ultrasound won't help you drive though I did see a video of a blind man who learned to echo locate his way around riding a bicycle.
