Ok the spiders (arachnophobia) I understand (I have an insect phobia myself. I find them creepy. Especially spiders because they're predatory -- making webs etc and the way they move just seems sinister somehow!) but deer? They're so cute! I've discovered why I'm scared of insects. They don't have a face. Anything with a face (mice, snakes, etc that many people are afraid of) I can't be afraid of, it's the creepy crawly multi-legged faceless monsters that freak me out! Even if they are tiny.

Like my mother always used to say "They're more afraid of you." but that never helped me. It's an irrational fear of course because they can't actually harm you, they're just ugly (spiders that is...)

Anyway, good luck! Just don't go camping I guess! :)

Try taking baby steps like sitting in a car when they are near then move up to standing near one. You'll find that they are gentle creatures and they will be more afraid of you and run away.

As far as spiders go, they just crawl so if one is near you, flick it off and you'll see there was nothing to it. Most spiders arent poisonous and its not like they are gonna run back and bite you. They are more fearful of humans too. Just take baby steps

You can't, learn to live with it and accept it, I also have a dreadful paralyzing fear of spiders, I have my husband 'take care of them' , but DEER ? they're harmless and beautiful and more afraid of us than you are of them.
