A powerful laser can emit in 0.83×10-2 s an intense pulse of light having an energy of 5990 J. If the frequency of the light is 5.98×1014 Hz, how many photons will be emitted in this pulse.
I found E= 3.96E-19 Joules. So take 59990 and divide it by 3.96E-19. One photon has 3.96E-19 J in it and I divided it from the total and I still got the wrong answer, What am I missing???

5990 J / 3.96E-19 J = 1.51 x 10^22 photons
Is this what you got?
The energy of one photon is h nu, or planck's constant times the frequency. How many such photons does it take to make up 5990 joules?
the galaxies rotate at speeds inconsistent with their glaring mass is considering we do see all of it. i'm concerning it as being the theoretical dark be counted. There are very physically powerful proofs which ability dark subject be counted exist. One the is the inconsistent speed of and glaring mass. dark subject be counted makes up approximately 75% to 80% of the concern interior the Universe...
Well your question states that the total energy outputted was 5990J,
but your answer has 59990J.
So which is it?
