A projectile is fired at an angle of 40° above the horizontal with an initial speed of 12 m/s. What is the horizontal component of the projectile's velocity at the end of 4 s?

As a general rule, ignoring drag, the horizontal component after 4 seconds will be the same as when it was fired. Gravity only affects the vertical component.
