If you get it frozen from a doctor, it will probably hurt because they can make it a lot stronger then the OTC treatments. I have tried everything and finally went to the doctor because I have had them so long, and just want them gone!
You can buy Doctor Scholl's Freeze-Away Wart Remover. I had a plantar wart once under my big toe, and it took a while and several treatments, but it's long gone. It stung a little, but not painful. In between treatments it's a good idea to place duct tape over the area- I know it sounds strange, but it works to prevent oxygen getting to the virus and something about the chemicals in the adhesive helps as well.
duct tape. Seriously. I had a wart on my finger, heard about that, so I tried it. I don't know how it works, but the wart never came back. Just be careful when you wrap a piece around your toe, or whereever and not cut off circulation. I'd also recommend taking it off at night and applying a new strip in the a.m.
OW. Don't do that. It's not sanitary, and you could wind up with a nasty infection, if not worse. There are home kits to freeze off warts, now. Try those.

Cheap and enough to last several generations.
