yes, i would use the Lucario and the first guy is a bug trainer, so staraptor will help. but the rapidash is good too. i would get about 10 escape ropes and train in victory road (toterra, lumineon,and licario), in the water there for lucario & gengar. i would go on the road to the 7th gym to train rapidash. i thought lv.55 was good, but i got my butt kicked by the second or third guy in the elite4. i finally got them up to 62ish and won. i'd recomend around there for youre pokemon's level.

the pokemon i used were my blaze (over lv 70) and Dialga (over lv 60) i had other pokemon but i didnt them so you need staraptor for when you go up against ground type pokemon and i would get rid of weavile and a i train in an area depending on their lv (mostly victory road).

train them all to lvl 60 or above and let your luxray learn iron tail and let rapidash learn fire blast and ok thats all

to train go to victory road... it has full of high leveled pokemon!!!
