I think this is pretty condescending, I'm not religious at all, I consider myself an atheist, but seriously, WTF is this?
I saw a TV commercial singing the "We wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year" song but, they were singing it as "We wish you a happy holiday and a happy new year"
Seriously, this is bull$h1t! it'll be better if there was no mention of the Christmas season at all whatsoever if advertisers are going to be ******* like this. I do like the Christmas season, even though, i'm not religious. But this **** makes me boycott the advertisers of this. BTW, it was a TV commercial for the universal studios DVD horton hears a who.

So what?
If they are not Christians why are they having holidays? Should be just another day to them. I am not Jewish I do not have time off or celebrate at Hanukkah, I am not Muslim I do not have time off at Eid, I personally follow no religion but my culture is Christian, my ethos is Christian, my country is/was predominantly Christian, and as such I celebrate Christmas. I also am rotered to work, so I will work.
I would never choose to live in a society that on the whole did not accept my ethos so why do others? .If my country and it's belief system offends then I respectfully suggest you stick to your own culture. Do not come to mine and expect me to conform to yours.
To be honest, I believe this stupidity came via America, whilst claiming to be the "land of the free" they have on the whole become a pack of mongrels, trying to feed from the same trough,.just like politicians.
LOL, your example came via the media, nuff said, it will always put profit before what is right and logical, I enjoy the fact that different faiths can embrace each other, celebrate together, but the media is intent on division. Why else denounce Christianity and declare it as a "holiday"?
Why does my Muslim taxi driver charge me double over Christmas when it means nothing to him? Does he get double pay? I think not, but he needs to get the rest of us on board.
People do not exploit people, politics does, humanity should rule, then political correctness would have no place in society. it would not be needed, because our rulers would be governed by the people.
Democracy anyone?
I agree with you.
Even those who aren't religious, the Christmas holiday season is a religious holiday. Granted it originally derived from Winter Solstice and still has the makings of the pagan holiday.
So check this out. If you don't like the word Christmas being used but celebrate with a tree, mistletoe, lights in the tree, and candles your still celebrating a religious holiday. Your either celebrating the Christian holiday of Christmas or the Pagan holiday of Winter Solstice.
In the old days, Advertising would be segmented to fit each group of people. There would be the traditional ad for us Christian folks, then in smaller markets they'd find a way to find Muslims, Jews and the others and run ads for them so as not to offend anyone. These days, they're trying to cut costs. They want to appeal to the broadest base of people and get the most bang for their buck, hence, the happy holiday. It's not an attack on your Christmas, it's just an attempt to be inclusive of the various religions and faiths that observe this Holiday Season....(sorry, I couldn't resist....lol.)
Globalist, they're trying to make you mad. Why the hell isn't wish you a marry Christmas and a happy holiday instead they leave Christmas completely out
I agree with you Jack Sparrow. Screw 'em! It's Christmas! Time for Christians to celebrate the birth of their savior!
Did you ever hear anyone complaining about Happy Kwanza??
Awwwww..........that's no longer honest! poor female. i do no longer understand why political correctness and common-sense won't be able to some how come at the same time and be buddies! i won't be able to have self belief the guy who reprimanded her won't be able to see the context in what she meant whilst she reported queer? won't be able to some one interior the workplace have a talk to the boss and clarify?
Advertisers don't generally want to alienate their audience, including the people who aren't Christians and might feel overlooked.
USA is a nation of immigrants and many arrive here escaping from genocides perpetrated by Christians.
It's a matter of sensibility.
Yes, more and more corporations are hating God and this is a Christian nation. It is just another part of the far left taking over our country.
If you don't celebrate Christmas, why do you care?
