(2x² - 3)/(7x + 4)
or maybe I should write it as
2x² - 3 ÷ 7x + 4 ,
the answer is [(2/7)x - 8/49] + (-115) / { 49(7x + 4) }
- The minus 115 over 49times(7x + 4) is the remainder -
I've never seen a long division equation with an answer this nuts, how do you do it?

7x goes into 2x^2 2x/7 times then multiply 2x/7 times 7x+4 and subtract
repeat the process until you have an integer remainder
write the remainder as the fractional part of a mixed number like N/(7x+4)
