I mean we have great talent... we have veteran players that have been playing which each other for years with plenty of world cup experience.... we have great subs... and plenty of european players? so my question is why did we have such a hard time in CANADA? Jamaica ? and Honduras ?

There are three main reasons why...
1) We were in the toughest group. I know we like to think that Mexico is vastly superior to every team in the CONCACAF but Honduras and Jamaica are no pushovers; they would have complicated things for any top team in the region. The U.S. and Costa Rica may have qualified early but they faced easier teams. Think how different things might have been if either one of those teams would have had to face Jamaica AND Honduras.
2) The team has not adapted to Sven's system of play. You're right, we have a lot of talent, but unfortunately they haven't had enough playing time together to adapt to the new coach's system. It's not gonna get any easier during the hexagonal because they have a tough schedule and no friendly games with the full squad.
3) Sven had a few miscalculations. Sven underestimated the opponents and overestimated the young talent on the Seleccion. He thought Vela and Giovanni would be enough to beat teams like Jamaica and Honduras.

Before we had mexicans playing in european teams (exception for Rafa Marquez) the players would use the Seleccion as a stepping stone to play in Europe.
