An Airplane is traveling at a speed of 700 miles per hour with a bearing of 330 Degrees. At a certain point, the plane encounters a wind blowing with a velocity of 50 miles per hour in the direction N 45 Degrees E (N 45 E). Find the resulting speed and direction of the plane.
Two forest rangers are exactly 20 miles apart on an east west road. The Western ranger spots a fire at a bearing of N 21 Degrees E (N 21 E), and the Eastern ranger spots a fire at a bearing of N 35 Degrees W (N 35 W). How far is each ranger from the fire? How far is the fire from the road?
Not looking for direct answers, I'm looking for the analysis. Step by step. Thank you

1) 330 degrees mean E 30 S. now split it into two components.
componenets in the east direction would be 700cos(-30) and in the south direction it'll be 700sin(-30)
then do the same for N 45 E.
after that add both then get the resultant by the resultant vector formula.
2) again split them into two components. then think which two out of four components after addition gives 20 miles.
then u have to do the rest carefully.
