Okay I know this is going to be too much information but oh well :)
I had unprotected sex almost five weeks ago, during my sugar pill week after my period ended. I take my pills religiously.
So I've been stressing all month about being pregnant and I got a period, shorter than normal though. I've noticed my boobs and nipples have changed. Darker, white bumps around the nipple. They aren't sore though. I've tested and all came out negitive. Could my constant thoughts of being pregnant trick my body??
How much can your mind really trick your body?! Cause I think that's what's happening

If you take your pills everyday at the same time of the day there is a small chance of being pregnant. If you had unprotected sex during the week of your sugar pills you were not ovulating and you have to ovulate for an egg to be present for sperm to fertilize it. Sounds like you had a light period because of stress of worrying about being pregnant.
You could actually be pregnant. The period being shorter than normal and nipple changes are both indications that a pregnancy could be going on, and you are probably too early for it to show on a test. Wait another week and take another one. If that's negative and you still can't get the thoughts out of your head, go to a doctor and have them confirm it so you will know either way! The mind can trick the body, it has happened to me several times. But I wouldn't ignore the shorter period and nipple changes either. Good luck!
