i am having a dispute with my friend on which of these sentences are correct , in grammar >>>>>
sentence 1 : I have seen a great fish tank at the market today .
sentence 2 : I seen a great fish tank at the market today.
the argument is that no matter what you cannot have the words " I " and "seen" together without anything in between them in a sentence is this true? or can this statement be written either way?

Sentence one is correct.
In order for sentence two to be correct, "seen" would have to change to "saw."
In fact, "I saw a great fish tank at the market today," is probably the best way to word this particular phrase.
Neither is correct, nor is your initial question phrased correctly.------
I am having a dispute with my friend on which of these sentences *is* correct.
sentence 1: I saw a great fish tank at the market today.
sentence 2: I saw a great fish tank at the market today.
While it is true that it is improper to place 'I' and 'seen' together, it is also true that it is not necessary , or even correct, to use a past perfect form of a verb when a simple past tense form is called for.
Your statements, as you wrote them, can neither be used grammatically.
the answer must b "i saw a great fish tank at the market today". bt it can also b "i hav seen a great fish tank at the market today."
Seen is verb 3. You can't use verb 3 along with subject without using word 'have/has'...
