It has been over a year for both next gen handhelds..
If any of you remember your old 1st Gen Nintendo DS or PSP.
You remember the arguments that were made to come in the next few weeks about the 'better handheld.'
And after at least a year of the handheld's release..
Which one do you believe is the better handheld this time around?
And why?
(Although we can all agree that the battery life sucks.)

I believe its a tie. Actual the PS Vita has significantly better pictures, however the 3ds remains to be a lot closer to Vita than DS was to PSP, and 3ds has just about Xbox 360 quality images. And you could turn the 3d off if it hurts your eyes. It probably comes all the way down to games, although. While I do agree Vita is better hardware, the 3ds will have a much more headquartered sport library than the Vita as soon as Vita comes out- Mario, Mario Kart, child Icarus, Starfox.. And after Vita, there's Luigi's Mansion, Smash Bros, Resident Evil, metallic gear solid... Vita simply has Uncharted, Stardust HD, and Little enormous Planet. I'm certain Vita will bounce back and offer a exceptional sport library too, like the PSP did, but it is going to take awhile for developers to get used to having that so much vigor on a transportable device, and the enormous RPGs like Kingdom Hearts will take awhile to get out considering that of that. They will each have fine video games. Vita has higher hardware, and i'm going to buy a Vita, (already have DS.) and i know i will experience it based on how much I enjoyed PSP. However, it comes down to games and for now 3ds is successful and in 2 years or so it will be a tie for video games.
It really depends on you. If you would like better looking graphics, I would choose the PS Vita. But if you would like a better range of games and 3D capabilities, I would go with the Nintendo 3DS. It really depends on you though. I own both systems, and I tend to play with my Nintendo 3DS more often because there is just a better variety of games and it's smaller, so it's more portable. But the battery life isn't that great. If you go with the Nintendo 3DS, I would suggest you buy something called the Nyko Power Pak for the Nintendo 3DS. It's basically a bigger battery that hooks on the back of you Nintendo 3DS. It adds just a little bit of bulk, but it's worth it because you get more hours of battery. You can also buy a dock for it so that you can charge it just like the charging cradle. I hope this helps you!

Power isen't everyone epseically in a portable, and has long has Sony is sticking that the Vita is just a portable PS3 with few exclusvies it's not going to be worth buying. Get a 3ds it has more games that are tailor made for it. Kingdom Hearts, Kid Icarus, Resedent Evil Revelations (all though that is getting a console port), and Mario 3d land.
Right now? The 3ds. It just has more games. The vita blows because it has so few games that are worth buying. I got mortal kombat because it was only 20 dollars. Also got virtues last reward because it was on sale last week. Heard great reviews about it and since it was cheap, I thought I would give it a try.
In a few years, I think the vita should be the better system because its more powerful.
Nintendo 3DS is better so far. Much better games for it and they really have the fun factor to them. But only buy one if you like Mario and Pokemon games because that's what I bought it for. I haven't seen a great deal worth of good games for the PSP Vita so far. It's still in it's earliest stages.
My personal recommendation is the 3DS. Though that is linked to the nostalgia of all the N64 games being recreated on the 3DS recently.
Nintendo 3DS.
Nintendo 3DS is the best because its best graphics & good controller.
