Serious inquiry;

When naming a day of a certain journey do you say,

for example: "It's Day number 25 of my hair growth journey"..

Or do you eliminate the word number and just say

"It's day 25 of my hair growth journey"..

Could it be correct either way?

Or does it sound stupid to use the word Number when addressing a particular day?
