I can't seem to remember from that calculus class I took, oh so many years ago. How to do a logarithmic equation similar to this: log x - log 2=2

I am studying for a post graduate test and they gave us all a set of practice problems to use to study for the test. If someone could tell me how to do even a similar equation, I would be very grateful.
