Questions to Ask a Politician?
I am a freshman in high school and I am getting the opportunity to meet with the senators and representatives in my area. I don't want to ask anything controversial or uncomfortable. Just enough to start conversation and show I have an interest.

ask what you are SINCERELY concerned about...
any question that doesn't come from your own concerns will likely appear "staged" as a "gotcha"..
perhaps you would do well to ask how they see the role of government and how it helps you build your own life and community?
The idea IS to ask the controversial or uncomfortable questions. Make these dorks answer for their actions and put them on the spot every opportunity.
