Although my daughter is over a year old now I still have fresh memories of labor.
I had a quick labor, cannot remember the proper name for it.
Basically, got contractions and 2am and by 3am she was in my arms.
It is a very horrible experience and it is said that if you have this type of labor chances are it will happen again. I'm ok with that, I wouldn't chose it to go like that again but if it does then it does!
I just wanted to hear from people who have had similar experiences as I don't actually know anyone who's been through it so quickly like me. And would like to know if it's happened to you more than once.
:)

My experience is a little different but yes I've had a very quick labor. I just had my baby the 8th of this month. I was 26 weeks. I went to sleep feeling perfectly fine around 11 p.m., when I woke up around 1-1:30 I was in so much pain. At first I was trying to go to the bathroom because I felt so much pressure in my butt. I quickly realized this pain wasn't normal and I was having contractions. They were 1 or 2 min. Apart! By 2 I was at the hospital and when I got examined I was fully dialated! If my daughter wasn't breeched I probably would have had her on the way to the hospital or at home. I went in for a c section around 4 and my babygirl was born at 4:29.
It deffinately is scary going into labor so quick and having your baby with you before you even get a chance to think.
This was my first so idk about if I'll have another quick delivery. I agree with you it is a horrible experience but if it happens again then it happens. Altho next time I pray my baby won't be premature.
I hope next time for you is a good labor and things go smooth. They also say your first child doesn't come easy which I believe.
Congrats :)
I love having a daughter !
I had a very quick delivery with my first just over 1hr from start to finish. Like you I was very concerned with my other babies as my first was very intense and scary. I now have 6 children and every labour since has gotten longer except for my last one. My last one was under 1/2hr I was at home by myself and only 31wks pregnant I was lucky that the ambulance arrived when they did. The best idea is to talk to a dr about it but just because your first labour was quick does not mean your next will be. Apart from my first and last labour the rest were between 6-12hrs so a big difference. If drs are worried about fast labors they will discuss options with you including possible induction so you can labour in a controlled environment. Fast deliveries can cause problems for both mother and baby so you really need to discuss this with your health professional. Good luck.
You should do a google or ask.com search for quick labor stories. There are a couple websites out there with great and plentiful logs.
i'm at the moment about 24 weeks pregnant with my second. With my first, My exertions replaced into about 5 a million/2 hours from start up to end. Water broke about 4:00am and my son replaced into born at 9:28am. I did have an epidural, which pondering it replaced into my first being pregnant, did not seem to decelerate my exertions in any respect. I received it even as i replaced into about 5-6 cm. I listen that exertions and shipping often decreases in length when you've had one baby. So sturdy success with this one...it sounds like you've had a lot of practice :-)
