Race is your face and your bones. It got nothing to do with skin color.
Yeah I know, it's stupid calling people black these days. Racially 'black' people are nnegroids - and in South Asia, India and Pakistan - some people's skin in the North is near enough white, in the Northeast people are yellow, and in the South many people are basically black skinned - but in central India many people will just be dark brown, it's quite stupid - a lot of Jamaicans are not Black like Africans, they are dark Brown like central Indians. And then I have seen some people from Spain and Italy, who are called 'White' but they are the same skin color as some NorthWest Punjabi or Kashmiri Indians like me - stereotyping races into colors is totally stupid.
Africans are not "black" and Caucasians are not "white", it's the name of the RACE that they go by. Native Americans are not "red" but other people label them as that. Asians are not "yellow" but others label them as that. This world really needs to stop the whole color thing, but it never will. "Whites" will always be looked at as being 'superior' and the "majority", and the other groups of people will always be seen as the "minority" and inferior. And that's really f^cked up!
People of Central and South america are Latino and hispanic, there skin tone is tan and fair, the population is admixture w/ european, nothing to categorize them from above. North America, In U.S you are familiarize in racial classification like black, whites, latino and asian, U.S is making of different races in the world!, The canada people population are white and the additional population of asian immigrants. No one will copy my answer!
you left out american indians are "red. "
As for central americans.. they are asians, so technically, "yellow" would be the word they should be called..... but since most people dont know that non white latinos trace their genes to asia... most people wont think to call them "yellow".
anyways.... all humans classify each other as colors.. and it works. If you say "black".. i know what race you are talking about. If you say "white".. i know what race you are talking about. it makes sense and is very useful for classification sake.
In africa... black africans often refer to arabs as "white" not "brown".
The only thing that confuses me is the fact that asians are not yellow. My fiancee is as white as I am. Why is she considered yelllow. After a day in the sun.. I will be less white than she.
asians are white (if they arent brown)
I don't consider regional identity to be synonymous with race. As we all know that's not true. True those are stereotypes but clearly proven to be false.
I never knew this....Does it really matter?
it is all DNA, not skin color.
