If David Cain traiend Bruce Wayne and David Cain worked for Ras Al Ghul, has Ras been watching Bruce well before he became Batman and could he have played a role in his training?
Update:Ras wanted a son but was unable to. If he had been working with Cain prior to Cain training Bruce maybe Ras one way or another led Bruce to Cain or visa versa. I think Ras would have been impressed by someone like Bruce.

The movie Batman Begins establishes that Ras certainly knew Bruce Waynes comings and going while in China, as to prior to China I think yes he was instrumental in training Bruce if only indirectly with future motives.
Batman Ra Al Ghul
That was only in the movies. In the comics (late 70’s or early 80’s) Ras al Ghul wanted Batman to marry Talia, thinking that their offspring would be eugenically superior and the line would last a long time. Ras’ intention was to perpetuate the Society of Assassins, which he headed up.
al Ghul reasoned that Batman had to have certain kinds of high tech equipment, and began researching to see who had bought the necessary things. He found there was only one man who had personally bought (for example) several Cray computers for his own use, and that was Bruce Wayne. So he penetrated the mystery set up by the World’s Greatest Detective! And he kidnapped Robin to motivate Batman, to see how he would behave under stress.
Batman tricked Ras, in turn: he claimed to have seen a faint scratch on the map of the Himalayas, but he was lying because he suspected Ras. Ras al Ghul equipped an expedition which took them straight to a certain one of the mountains, where Robin was held—proving that he had prior knowledge of Robin’s whereabouts.
After subduing Ras al Ghul, the first time (with Talia’s help) and letting her go, he closed the holes in his cover story, by seeing to it that the sales records were changed, and that ‘other’ people had all the equipment necessary to be Batman. So, there IS a downside to having all those ‘wonderful toys’ that people make so much of.
The comic character that most closely corresponds to the movie story about the trainee becoming the adversary of the trainer is Manhunter, who rebelled against the Council that gave him his powers of regeneration and trained him in ninjutsu. He teamed with Batman in his final adventure. Walt Simonson was the artist, at the peak of his early fame, and the short-lived Manhunter series (six issues, IIRC) won seven of the comic book industry’s most prestigious top awards. And it deserved them.
But Ras al Ghul only trained Batman in the movie, not in the comics. In the comics, they were always enemies. Even Talia drew away from his plans for world dominance, though there was a black-and-white issue (not legally a ‘comic book’; therefore not bound by the Comics Code) where she and Batman shared, shall we say, a honeymoon night. Supposedly she had a son by him, but I don’t know if that is considered part of the canon, now.

No, Ras Al Ghul appeared until 1980s when he kidnapped Robin
The one who trained Wayne IS ras al ghul but the other one is a poser
Bane was exiled from the league of shadows because ras couldn't get over his appearance. His daughter(can't remember her name) I'd imagine him and her were laying low prepping for all this to come. Lol it's not like he woke up the night before and was able to accomplish all that.
the demons head has been alive for close to a millenium of course he would have an interest in batman to determine his worth in relation as a possable suitor for his daughter talia
