Maybe in fairy tale land.
Edit: Your laptop doesn't have a graphics card slot either. You got what you got and that's all what you got. You want better hardware, you buy a new pc.
Edit: Then there is always the clown who thumbs everyone down and posts some bullshit on how you CAN change it but doesn't realize this feat is WAY above the head of of anyone who has to ask such a question! The odds are 99.99% against the asker even being able to get it apart and back together not to mention the gain in performance would be next to worthless! The clown may be able to but he definitely lacks common sense.
Some people answer questions to quickly with getting the facts first which is to bad for the questioner.
Although many newer laptops come with GPU's & CPU's soldered onto the board , there are still laptops with processors that can be replaced.
A low end , inexpensive unit is more likely to have a soldered processor , but it makes no sense at all to dispose of a $1000.00 laptop because someone may have left there laptop running on the bed & burned the 90 dollar processor.
I have replaced many laptop CPU's & the e1505 can be replaced.
The Dell Inspiron 1505 model laptop comes with a Celeron M or Intel Core 2 duo processor, which will range from 1.66 GHz to 2.0 GHz.
Yours will take:
Intel® Core™2 Duo processor
Intel® Core™Duo processor
Intel® Pentium Dual-Core processor
Intel® Celeron® M processor

It depends on your laptop. Most processors usually have a weaker version and stonger version. But there are a multitude of thing that must be correct if you wish to change it. If they are both socketed processors then you can find one that is probably compatible. Of course you might need a BIOS update to support this new processor and it has to be pin and mobo compatible. If its not socketed then its a lot harder but can still be done. You will need to desolder the old CPU from th mobo. This is usually done with hot air blower. Then you need to check if the replacement CPU is compatible. It has to have the exact same number of pins or outputs as the original processor did. A 900 pin processor cannot be replaced with a processor with 800 or 1000 pins. It can only be replaced with a 900 pin. Same for any processor. Also the motherboard has to be compatible, and also make sure your bios supports it. Contact your computer manufacturer before doing anything because they are usually the people who know!! If its HP...good luck contacting support!! Otherwise its probably replaceable if you find similiar brand with similiar pinouts!! Good Luck!If your going to do this, use a computer specialist. DONT DO IT YOURSELF UNLESS YOU ARE A COMPUTER SPECIALIST. Youll could destroy the computer especially if its number 2: the soldered processor

I don't believe you can. I think the processor is made in the motherboard.
