Rob Zombie... Director or Musician?
Do you like Rob Zombie better as a Director or as a Musician?
I used to listen to him a lot in High School, but now I think I prefer him as a director... love his movies. Which do you prefer?

I can't choose between the two. I have seen him in concert and was wowed by his energy and the great live sound - and I am a big fan of his solo record and his albums with White Zombie.
I also enjoyed his movies - The Devil's Rejects is one of my absolute favorite movies - i liked it far better than House of 1000 Corpses - i like the "real" slasher horror movie as opposed to the surreal feeling of House. I also enjoyed his adaptation of Halloween.

Ive always loved his music, and I've never watched any of his movies, so I'm gonna say musician, but of course I'm not well-informed enough.
BQ: None. This is the only section I go in ever.
MQ: I dont' really think I have one. Im a little surprised at how much I like Kings of Leon though, they dont seem like my kind of band but they're not terrible.
Perhaps after a while they shoot their own music videos, and then delve into shooting full-length motion pictures. As to whether being creative musically translates into successful film directing, it doesn't hurt, but also doesn't guarantee success. I, for one, am not going to be the first in line to see a movie produced by Fred Durst. But a movie directed by Manson might be interesting, even though his music sucks and is gimmicky.
You know, I've never seen any movie he's directed and I'm not sure if I've heard any of his music or not, so I really can't say.

MQ: I can't think of a band that would embarrass me, but I can choose a musical artist--Katrina Elam...she's a damn good singer!
Sorry, I don't think he's too good at either. haha. But that's just my opinion, which is essentially worth nothing.
